Great shorts in terms of length, design and material. However the waist is too big and there is only a drawstring. My son tore the material in the waistband trying to tighten his shorts to stay up. Not all kids are fat and not all Mums like the "show your pants" style.

I have been buying the board shorts for a few years now for my son's and my eldest's shorts are passed down to his brother as they are hard wearing and a classic style with fab designs that do not date. Due to elasticated waist you can normally get two summers wear from them so if you do pass down thats four summers. Good value

as usual, boden comes up trumps. My son is never out of these shorts, given the weather. this is the second pair I've bought, and last year's are still going strong, albeit a bit faded now. great fit and very comfortable,even when full of sand and seaweed!
