I bought these shorts for my son who has just turned four, but age four was a bit small on him so exchanged for a age five. I would say the age four is more like a three to four size wise. Apart from that they must be very comfortable as he won't take them off. They are really great quality with lots of extra details on the pockets etc. They wash and wear really well and hardly need an iron!

Brilliant love the orange so we went back for the blue lemon colour. Sure to be well worn. The waist elastic is a must for those with slim boys and not sure how we will cope next year as teen range is minus this feature. Slim and tall need the option to tighten the waist please !

Bought these shorts for my grandson who has just turned 2. The age 2 was too small and had to go for the age 3 although I would say he is average sized for his age. In general I always have to go for bigger sizes for my grandson and grandaughter in Boden clothing.
Apart from the sizing, the quality and style of the clothing is great. They have loads of Boden clothes and I am very pleased with the quality.

My 8 year old is well above average height wise so I buy age 10 & these are a perfect fit - he can adjust the waist to pull them in & make them a comfy fit. As with previous years, great quality & a good design. Plus son loves the orange / blue hawaiian floral mix!!

Have been buying these shorts for my son for a few years now and they never dissapoint. unfortunetly this is his last year in mini Boden, as he is 14 and growing big time. In height, not in waist and I see Jonnie B does not do adjustable waists.
