My little boy has eczema and so we can only get pure cotton PJ's so I was delighted to see these. Thesy arrived and he loved them as they look grown up (he is 5) and are super comfy! We have washed them twice already and all seems to have stayed the same! We have now decided to go for the pirate ones as well! Thank you Boden, happy boy and happy mummy!

I ordered the red check, size 7-8yrs, for my 6 year old son. The colours are lovely on him - he is blonde with blue eyes - and the trousers are a very comfy fit. The top is a good length, but very narrow, so if your child is average build or larger, you might find it a rather snug fit.

The green check pyjama bottoms are a beautiful colour and quite grown up for an 11 yr old who finally got fed up with other Boden jersey pyjamas with cute designs. Fabric is light for spring / summer; tshirt very soft and well made.

I've stopped buying pyjamas for my 9 year old, as he never wears a top in bed, but made an exception for these as the top can be worn as an ordinary daytime t-shirt. We have the green check which is a lovely colour; the white t-shirt will be handy and versatile for daywear.
We had these in 9-10 last year and the sizing was very small, so I ordered 11-12 this year. Not sure if the sizing has improved, or whether there is just a big jump between the two sizes - but this time the trousers are huge! I reckon they are big enough for me (petite size 8-10). Nevertheless, I am going to keep them as they can easily be rolled up, and I know that my son will get 2-3 years wear out of them.

Bought the pirate pair for my 2 year old....Top marks for design, but none for quality. T shirt top is fine, usual Boden quality, but the bottoms are dreadful! Very thin cotton which didn't feel cosy and comfortable like pyjamas should be, or as if they would stand up to much wear and tear, which is a must for anything a 2 year old boy will be wearing. The fabric might soften up after washing, but I doubt it would make it any thicker.
