Maybe my children have unusually small heads, but I always find mini Boden hats to be huge! My daughter has always been small for her size, but even ordering a smaller size, I used to find Boden hats too big, and now for my son, who is large for his age, I ordered his right size and the poor wee chap couldn't see when I tried it on. Otherwise the hat itself looks quite nice, but is expensive for a single hat (I misunderstood & overlooked the "reversible" part, instead seeing two hats in the image, thought we were getting two hats - my mistake)

Received this today, was planning on getting some use out of it during Summer. My son is two and a quarter, and I got the 2-4 years. While I know he doesn't have a small head, it's not huge either. This hat only just fits him, so not sure how it would fit a 4 year old. Shame, because it is very cute, soft, light, perfect or summer. Will be sending this back as there is no way it will fit in a few months, especially after washing it
